by the way

This Tuesday I was informed by my dear dear Grandmother that she has a deadly disease. She is doing her best to live positively...
Would you please pray for her?

I love her so much.

Dear, dear Celeste:

THANK YOU Lord for precious friends who are truely WITH Celeste in these unbearably sad times. In that friendship is the reflection of your love and care for her.

Rocky and I were shocked and sad to hear about Abbey. Then to scan down and read about your precious grandmother, made me yearn to pick up our phone and hear your voice. But I don't have your mailing address or phone number since I lost my address book. If you did send it to me, I can't find it. Care to share those again??

Please know that this long silence in no way reflects your place in our hearts. Seldom a day goes by that I don't see or hear something that brings you to mind. Of course I have "Worship" hanging in my office where I see it dayly and that opens the doors.

Tonight I caught up on a couple months of your postings. I can see your heart is a magnificent gift to those you are serving and ministering to in the nursing home. I wish Rocky's 97 year old mother had a caregiver with a heart like yours! She has three that come into her home each week but for each of them this is JOB, not a ministry of love. Unfortunately, Mom drives most people away with her negitivety and snide words. But she really craves knowing she is VALUED and LOVED, that her life has been considered valuable and for the reassureance that she will be missed when she leaves this world. She has no concept of what the Lord has done for her. She is alone in more ways than one.

Rocky's company sold two weeks ago to a Canadian firm. The new company let the CAD engineers go the first day. But Rocky found a temporary job within a week in his field (by networking).

Well, I need to be in bed. 'Have to go in early tomorrow as Chelle is dealing with an infection and needs to be home on antibodics again. She has been a valant warror through this long battle. It's been over 5 months between her surgery, chemo and now this.

GOOD night dear friend.
Love from both of us!
